The beach, which is slightly hard to find, is a photographers dream. The small beach offers waves crashing over the extremely rocky coast line, a relaxing sandy beach, dramatic towering cliffs and the historic La Tour or “Pirate Castle” as the locals call it, all in only a one mile section of beach.

The La Tour tower which looks like a medieval castle is an old stairwell built by the original owners as a way to access the beach from the cliffs. The remains of an old concrete pool on the be rocky coast are also visible an offer amazing photo oppurtunities.

Directions: From the South, head North on the South Coast Hwy. After you pass Montage Resort Rd, Sunset Rd will be 0.5 miles ahead on your left. During the summer you want to start looking for parking at this point, but during the winter you can park right by the stairs to the beach. Turn left onto sunset and take that for about 200 yards to the intersection of Sunset and Victoria. The stairs to the beach are at this intersection. Take the stairs down to Victoria Beach. Turn left to enjoy Geoff Island, and relax on the beach. Turn right over the rocky wall near the cliffs to photograph the historic La Tour castle and old swimming pool.

From the North, sunset will be on your right 0.5 miles after passing Diamond Street.

Downtown Laguna Beach is only a couple miles North of Victoria Beach. The area is very beautiful with multiple shops, taverns, and entertainment for the entire family to enjoy. The other can’t miss location during your visit, is the Neapolitan, South of Victoria Beach towards Dana Point. The Neapolitan has many “off the wall” type of appetizers like their roasted beets, or entrees like the epic Blackberry pizza.
