Patagonia Mens Down Snap T Pullover

Camping In The Mojave Desert With The Patagonia Snap Pullover

I recently purchased this Patagonia Men’s Down pullover/jacket and wanted to share my review. This is a very versatile pullover for the cool summer evenings or the frigged winter nights. Classy enough for urban wear and tough enough to take a beating in the back country. Like most of us today we enjoy style, comfort and a durable ridged product to take on trail. This pullover has it all. It is 600 filled down with a kangaroo hand pocket to keep your hands warm and a small front pocket to keep small items like a GPS, sunglasses, snacks, etc. The wind resistant shell is great for the high mountains, high seas or the daily jeep ride. It is also water resistant in a slight drizzle, while fishing or in a moderate snow storm. I recently put it to the test in Piute Canyon, CA, Big Bend National Park and Zion National Park. On my multi day treks backpacking I wore the pullover nearly the entire time. I went from wearing it, to siting on it, to even using it as a pillow. The jacket was tough and I was surprised I didn’t tear any holes in the fabric. With only a 200 smartwool layer and this Patagonia jacket I was very comfortable in 14 degree weather. It was very warm and the multiple pockets were very useful while fishing, cooking, taking photos and gathering fire wood. The pullovers retro style gives it that unique look everyone wants and I’ve been complimented many times in the short time I’ve owned it.  I highly recommend this pullover jacket whether you’re an avid outdoorsman or the fashionable city dweller.
